Quality assurance: better every day

We make every effort to be the best partner for our customers. To ensure quality, our quality policy rests on four pillars:

  • Product improvement - for this, the R&D department is very important

  • Process improvement - we continuously optimize, which is why we always take a critical look at the production process

  • Performance improvement - better every time and error margins are getting smaller and smaller

  • Project improvement - inspiring colleagues, asking questions to improve

In addition, we have compiled documents, which define, streamline and record the process. This way it is always clear exactly what, how, when and in what quantities we deliver. In this way, we manage customer expectations.

ISO9001 and EN1090

We are ISO9001 certified. The system ensures that you keep improving your performance. Risk management is also an important aspect. Furthermore, you have to look critically at suppliers. Are they performing as they should?

Another certification we have is EN1090. Mandatory for selling steel components in the market sectors we operate in. It is of great safety and quality importance that we have this certification and adhere to it.

Certification of steel

Quality assurance is also about the quality of steel. To ensure quality, KS Service Center performs checks on incoming steel (while the supplier producing it is responsible for that). Each profile must be traceable from which steel it is made. This is linked to certificates. KS Service Center ensures that each individual profile is linked to the certificate that comes with a badge steel rolls. We are increasingly automating this process and we are also in the process of printing certificate codes on each profile.

Quality assurance never ends

We have protocols, certifications and lots of experience. We resolve any non-conformance, potential issues in consultation with the customer and internal stakeholders. In doing so, we also look at the root cause of the non-conformance issue. How did it originate? Is it system or programming error? Are there underlying issues that play a role?

We want to keep quality constant, because we strive for a stable process with ditto quality. In addition, we want to improve quality. After all, the bar must always be raised, because companies choose us because we are the best partner.
