What does our new ERP system mean for our partners?

To begin, let's briefly explain what an ERP system is. Very briefly, an ERP system is the heart of an organization. With such a system you get a grip on business processes and make sure that they fit together seamlessly.

Room to do business

"We come from a situation where all companies in the KS Industries group work with the same ERP system. Meanwhile, the group has been split into several bv's, with each bv operating independently and responsible for its own ICT landscape. We studied whether the current ERP system fits KS Systems' operations, objectives and ambitions. What turned out: the old ERP system does not provide the space to do business as KS Systems wants. After all, our business is no longer about orders, but about projects."

Software with growth potential

"In order to develop, we needed a new ERP system. As a supplier, we chose ECI Solutions. Their package Trimergo offers a lot of potential for us and ensures that we are ready for future projects. In addition to Trimergo, there was also a need for estimating software. The solution was found in separate software from Quootz, and is called Merkato. With Quootz's software, we make our calculations clean and proprietary. In addition, it is very important to KS Systems that data and documentation are processed properly. In addition, we have therefore chosen software that helps us with this, namely PRO.FILE from PLMXpert. We use this software to store drawings and other documentation at project level and to send drawings and other documentation in a controlled way to internal and external parties. This way we always have full control over our data.

The combination of these 3 packages ensures that we are optimally ready for the future and can grow with our partners."

"We already do everything we can to exceed the expectations of our partners, but there is always room for improvement. With our new software we are making great strides. Launch

"It is important that all the systems talk to each other well and we have to take our time for that. In the new ERP system we have to take into account the logistics part, production and many other things. In the first phase, we are focusing on the launch of Trimergo. Then, in the following phases, we will develop our systems step by step. We aim to go live in mid-2024."
